Maria Woodworth-Etter

Maria Woodworth-Etter (1844–1924) was an influential American Pentecostal preacher and healing evangelist. Known for her powerful ministry, she was one of the first women to gain widespread recognition in the early Pentecostal movement. She preached in tent meetings, large auditoriums, and churches, drawing crowds with her dynamic preaching and miraculous healings. Etter’s ministry focused on salvation, divine healing, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. She played a significant role in the spread of the Pentecostal movement in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, inspiring many through her bold faith and prophetic ministry.
