Kenneth Hagin (1917–2003) was an influential American preacher and founder of the Word of Faith movement. Known as the “father of the modern faith movement,” he emphasized faith, healing, and prosperity based on biblical principles. After a miraculous healing from a debilitating illness as a teenager, Hagin began preaching in the 1930s. He founded Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, in 1974, training thousands of ministers worldwide. His teachings, books, and radio programs reached millions, focusing on the power of words, positive confession, and the authority of the believer. Hagin’s legacy continues through his ministry and global followers.

If what you hear preached doesn’t cause faith to come and build faith in your spirit, then it either isn’t the Word of God or else you’re not hearing it.

Believe it in your heart; say it with your mouth. That is the principle of faith. You can have what you say.
